Minimalist Chess Set

A fully original chess set designed from scratch in CAD and 3D printed as a gift. Every piece uses a clean geometric language — identifiable by silhouette without relying on decorative curves or traditional iconography. The design prioritizes clarity, printability, and elegance over ornamentation.

The board is a self-contained unit: the playing surface sits on top of a sliding drawer that stores all 32 pieces in custom-fitted slots, so nothing needs a separate box. The whole set can be scaled up or down without any redesign, and because each color is a standalone print, it works on any single-extrusion FDM printer.
